Advanced Diploma is definitely a tad harder than Diploma. liddat how to do Bachelor's aiyo..

so i was juz catching up on d X Factor USA couple days back. so nice!! have been hooked since i got a glimpse of d 3rd episode. there're only 11 teams remaining n i find it sooo hard to eliminate them 'cuz they're really talented n each act has their own story.

went to church ytd. it was d Arise and Build weekend! tk God i didn't miss it cuz i could make a pledge. everytime i take part in it I receive so much more than I give. believing for another great surprise after this one! besides being co-owner of a commercial building, wealthy and famous, i think being associated w/ a house filled w/ genuine love is d best accolade ever.

Dr. A. R. Bernard once said dat if i feel i can't grow anymore in my cellgroup, then i shud change cg. but how? izzit really true for me? tho i tink for now, changing cg won't mean much as it's more impt to change n improve myself rite? owells dilemma dilemma..

so i've been revising quite a bit on my 3rd module. taking as much notes as given, to know anything and everything that might or might not be tested. so far so good i'm on the fourth of 12 pages of the notes. it's juz CRAZILY CRAZY trying to do wad i do cuz i need to keep flipping thru the stupid study book n the papers n then try to formulate d best answer i can for d exam. meaning as exemplary as possible w/ minimal cancellations. let's hope i can finish it all thru study week....

we all know that Ranked Solo Queue in League of Legends is an idiosyncratic path of wins n losses. cuz it's a team game of 5, u gotta know all roles-support, tank, jungle, ad ranged carry, ap mid carry etc. dat's only d first step. after dat u juz need to keep improving on strategies n perfecting ur own gameplay. here's a lil' smth to hype u up.

sometimes u have explicit AFKs or LEAVERs from start or juz ppl who instalock champs tinking they're good cuz they own in normal but they feed so much they become juz too heavy to carry to a victory. but it's ok i juz focus on improving myself.

1. so far i need to learn a 2nd support champion juz in case i cant use taric.
2. then i need another ranged ad cuz my ashe, caitlyn n vayne r juz not enuf. i might consider kogmaw =)
3. i need to learn another jungler besides lee sin. hmm tough choice..
4. orianna's been nerfed n my brand sucks like a boss. i know a lil' of gragas but dat's pretty much all d ap mid i know LOLOLOL. gotta pick up a few more i guess but juz no time sigh
5. as for solo top, i can go 2 ways.. either learn new champs or perfect my exisiting ones such as nasus, chogath, jax n garen. but i heard gangplank n udyr solo top r quite viable too hmm.. dilemma!!!

so Monday Night RAW this week was held in Oklahoma City! n it's good to see who d real supporters are when real troubles come! each one of them there is worth a ton of super stardom imo.. tho maybe not Sheamus yet hehe. 

seriously wad has Triple H done wrong as C.O.O? other than d vice president of "total asswipe" n some 50 odd blind sheep, every1 else seem to be fine w/ him running all shows all day. but o well i guess this new interim thing is for d better we shall see.

o n i saw d Harvard Law Graduate in Otunga pinning Kingston str8 after ONE suplex. real.. does he tink it is Kofi's first time competing? or maybe he juz dun have anything else in his arsenal huh? all shape n size but no power n stamina. yuck.

so i'm done w/ two outta six subjects for my course. total score tabulation prolly out in a few weeks for PR. n i've juz received my 1st module's results. kinda sad really dat i didnt do too well. this sucks.. need to refocus n return to aiming for full marks instead of juz a dumb A grade.

but is ok cuz i got this free $25 Inflection(Inspiration + Reflection) book from my awesome church!! yep yep it looks really cool too haha so happy =)

so juz a while back i finished viewing UFC 135. really cool stuff! tho' it was quite a pain to watch Jon "Bones" Jones thrashing Rampage Jackson for four rounds. as in.. he totally outclassed the ex-champion on a whole new level. but it's aite cuz as i said b4, there's gonna be a lot more fighters comin up similar to him, Anderson Silva n George St. Pierre in d coming years. it's juz gonna catapult MMA to a higher zone like never b4 n dat's juz d way it's gonna be.

o n if u haven't seen d latest episodes of TUF 14, u gotta check it out man. immensely rich talent pool in d 135 n 145lb division no doubt.

so Zack Ryder's been winning some matches alright.. kinda happy for him but i tink he needs to pull up some socks n dun get to complacent. cuz there's still so much more room for improvement for him in d upper echelon. i mean.. juz a week or two back we all saw how HARDD it took for Drew Mcintyre to help mr.wowowo win. completely tryhard till poor Drew got exhausted thinking how he can purposefully damage himself enough to lose to Zack Ryder convincingly. it was plain obvious.. prolly due to some contractual obligations dat forced him to lose dat match but it's ok cuz we all know dat on a good day, Mr.Drew definitely has World Heavyweight Champ standard, period.

so i juz got back from a zone outing!

we did dragonboat n stuff ard' Kallang area. was fun! definitely worth the moneh$$$. i'll be sure to bring some kinda suntan lotion or smth d next time tho! cuz now i've become a poor victim who needs to force himself to shower w/ cold water for a couple days to hasten d process of recovery from sunburn. gd thing abt it is dat u won't get any peeling white skin when the redness fades away, as compared to showering w/ heated water. yup yup.

see d reddish colour on my deltoids n posterior triangle trapz? me dun like! red red faster disappear :(

i recently paid a ticket to go watch d ONE Fighting Championship, which was held at SIS yesterday. it's like d Asian version of UFC, which is rather well established tks to Mr. Dana White lol. it's very exciting even tho d ring announcer has room for improvement as compared to d veteran voice of d octagon, Bruce Buffer, haha. also met a guy who came from Germany n who now lives in Singapore. he seemed enthralled w/ d performance of d fighters, n so did i for sure. i'll bet he & many more went for d after-party somewhere downtown.. at Butter Factory if i'm nt wrong. but i had to leave right after Phil Baroni's fite 'cuz i had to catch d last train. tk God they somehow extended d time. or maybe it's juz pure coincidence dat last train timings r always extended on Sats? owell i'm nt sure haha.. got a mini video coverage for d show anyway. it gets even better as u watch till d end. cheers!

so d 2nd last fite was prolly d main event of d eve. d crowd fav, Yoshiyuki Yoshida from Jackson's MMA went up against Phil Baroni from American Kickboxing Academy(AKA). didn't have it in as my cam went outta battery lol. but it's cool i scribbled down as much as i could during d match =X

ROUND ONE
started out fast but Phil gets pushed to d cage for abt one min. was juz all abt getting head position for them. ard 3:20 timer Yoshiyuki gets d first takedown n pounds Phil in ard 1:42. they stand back up w/ 20+ secs remaining. it was all Yoshiyuki that round. I'd have give t him a 20-17 score for sure.

ROUND TWO
now Phil begins to keep his distance, tryna' set up Yoshiyuki for d standard one-two knockout. they exchange random jabs n kicks, doing feints n whatnot. but Yoshiyuki decides to close in ard 2:48 timer, getting his takedown attempt stuffed by Phil. allowing d latter to take up mount position. he failed to captilize by dealing dmg n raking up points b4 Yoshiyuki sweeps n gets on top ard 1:58 timer. dey switch again ard 13 secs left into d match n stand up. Phil gets d advantage this rd but definitely nt enuf if u count d two rounds. he prolly scored 19-18 or somewhere even lesser.

ROUND THREE
4:44 timer n Phil gets taken down but stands back up while trying another choke attempt on Mr.Japan. both welterweights began showing signs of gassing out but Yoshiyuki was quick on another takedown, retaining FULL mount for abt 2 mins. ard 2:12 timer Yoshiyuki starts dismantling Phil w/ hammerfists, which pretty much meant he wud win by a huge margin if it went to d judges' decision. kinda obvious even for someone w/o prior knowledge of MMA rules etc after watching three rds unfold. 0:45 timer Yoshiyuki goes back to half-guard(meaning one leg in enemy's butterfly guard n d other, free) n maintains top position till end of rd. it was clearl domination from d representative fightin' outta Jackson's MMA. Back to d drawing board for Phil Baroni.

so i haven't touched League of Legends for over two or more days now! juz so many other things i needed to do first which is sad 'cuz i heard there's some kinda IP boost this weekend? shucks that i missed it but imma DEFINITELy try to play a few rounds tmr or d day after. yup!

anyway if you haven't watched Hanna already u really shud check it out. talk abt STUNNINGLY beautiful.. dat's wad d lead actress(Saoirse Ronan) evoked in me as my eyes glued to d screen d entire show haha. o yea Eric Bana's acting was incredible as well. i tink he'd make d 4th guy i'll admire alongside brad pitt, val kilmer n tom cruise haha. i'm not gay tho so...

so i've been garnering some thots while watching WWE weekly =)

1. Zack Ryder the WoWoWo guy from Long Island, NY really needs to win more matches. no pt being so charismatic n doing all those sideline stuff when u dun get seen often in matches. u juz not gonna get enuf crowd for real.
2. i'm digging this new CM Punk thinggy' haha. i tink he's cool and all dat but i still support John Cena no prob. anyway i tink CM Punk is relying too much on his reactions. he cant juz keep responding and trying to one-up his opponent. he needs to do more in order to create a new Era i reckon.
3. i'm still waiting for Heath Slater to show up. everytime i see him is juz an average WWE wrestler doing some stunts here and there. he says he's d one-man rock band rite? well let's see u create some fancy moves bro. Stone Cold is known for his stunner Undertaker is known for his tombstone. maybe play w/ d guy's hair as if they're some guitar strings or smth b4 doing a DDT e.g. gogo!
4. it's so funny how Alex Riley played Dolph Ziggler lol. i'm feeling like Alex Riley is d real deal when talking abt true blue American all star or w/e. cool stuff yep hehe

so i juz finished watching Ironclad (directed by Jonathan English)!! is a pretty brutal movie i muz say, w/ a hint of romance tho haha. Jason Flemyng plays the cool knight templar who saves d day several times while Kate Mara plays d gal who falls in love w/ him. n i tink there's no better person to play d evil King than Paul Giamatti haha. not a bad show to catch if u're juz looking to kill time after finishing ur homework etc.

yea i was juz watching WWE Raw again few days back n realised dat CM Punk got suspended! tink he got caught in d moment n went overboard in trying to hype up his titlefite in WWE Money in the Bank PPV. fortunately John Cena pulled out all d stops to get him back in business so dat's cool. wad John Cena did was smth dat could only be used once or twice at max so mr. Punk really has to buy him loads of gatorade or smth for dat sacrifice lol.

Battle LA . WWE CP 2011

WOOHOO! juz finished watching Battle Los Angeles, nnnnd i love it! 

earth is unsuspectingly hit by a global invasion, d scope of battle is focused on a rescue operation down in Los Angeles. Can the United States Marines prevail against such overwhelming power when time is ticking against them? Or will there be other factors that may cause them to fall? Watch and find out as veteran Aaron Eckhart leads the fray =)

WWE Capitol Punishment 2011 was definitely the main bulk of entertainment whenever i waited for my ranked solo-queue to enter champion select in League of Legends. as u know d player pool in SG is not as large as in North America n Europe so waiting time can get pretty long.

anyway, d first match immediately saw a title change hands w/ Dolph Ziggler being d wielder. let's hope his increased performance in-ring(which i believe comes partly from dat haircut haha) is juz d beginning of something awesome, at least for d next few years yup.

so d 250lbs Alex Riley not only held his own against The Miz but actually had enough tenacity to score a 1-2-3 cover after a successful DDT. i kinda like his entrance music, at least for d first 12 seconds =P

this PPV also saw another belt change hands as Ezekiel Jackson defeated Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental Championship. wad he lacks is really dat innate charisma. he needs to think of more lines to use and practise 'em a few hundred times extra in private 'cuz brawn alone can't keep titles. let's hope he uses this given opportunity to d fullest.

n yes! once again u can always count on John Cena to take care of business, tho this time w/ a lil' aid from d fans. i tink dat kid's prolly gonna remain on cloud nine for d next few days haha. i would too if i were him!

recording of 4th june svc is out! i was juz watching it cuz i couldnt get into d hall dat week.. was standing outside d auditorium due to ppl-overload! LOL. 

anyway d WoG delivered by Pst Kong was simply inciting! it's very true that members shud desire to achieve a balance of spirituality, success in life n love for ppl(not juz in church). n i daresay i'm one of whom still very much in need of such equilibrium. 

i can still rmb d first few yrs of my walk w/ God.. it was so "exciting", full of events to go and juz have loads of fun etc until ard 2005 when i was hit w/ a revelation, tks to d guy who brought me to chc who was also my first cgl. last i heard he left full-time ministry to go into property. so Eric expounded dat i've been so caught up w/ enjoying God's salvation n blessing dat i failed to spread it to others. it was time to step out of my comfort zone & mature in my faith by learning how to serve Jesus to others through my daily life. it wasn't juz abt fellowshiping in d chartered bus to lavender n kallang every week. it wasn't juz abt making so many frens in church etc(yes i still rmb them Su Wee, Shawn Paul Tan, Sky n many more from Bravo n Charlie zone lol). it was time to grow up n bring dis piece of gd news to frens ard me. it's very easy to sing & worship, to give offerings n go for svc/cgm but soul-winning is smth i've been struggling w/ tremendously. i tink this is d next level n i tk God for reminding me of His grace in helping me bring a fren for Easter this yr n seeing him accept Christ for himself. 

it's been a great form of encouragement to me to know dat in spite of d many, many, many stupid mistakes i've made in life, God is still so faithful to me =)

Junior Dos Santos dominated Shane Carwin in UFC 131 in a Heavyweight Fight(30-27, 30-27 & 30-26) to determine who will face Cain Velásquez for d belt. once again it is proven true, speed wins stand ups(even better if added w/ vicious accuracy n incredible stamina). it's wad one of my ex classmates said.. is wad Mike Tyson said.. is wad Bruce Lee confounded too. 

aside from dat, i tink a lot of credit goes to Heavyweight division fighters who can be so quick n yet versatile. cuz it takes more effort to be as fast - in terms of ratio or percentage if there's such a measurement - as a Light/Welterweight. cuz d world in societies as we know is pretty much standard. a cup is a cup.. a chair is a chair.. there is no such thing as bigger cup for bigger ppl n bigger sized food for bigger ppl(which i wont explain further since i dun wanna start gg into economics bla bla). so a person who's much taller or larger than d usual estimate takes less effort in his/her daily life to do stuff. dis translates to d fact dat their body becomes accustomed to such minimal effort dat they hit higher heart rates n use more energy juz by achieving d same strength/stamina/speed/conditioning standards as an average person.

sry if u find it profound but it's juz really basic analysis. i like finding d root reason behind stuff dat happens n it's been like a hobby to me since young. like how u can tell one part of a person's character by knowing which finger he uses to dig his nose. pinky or index? hehe.. altho knowing so much n not being able to disseminate it is useless. which is y we go thru PSLE/O'Level/A'Level/Diploma/Nitec/ Degree/Masters etc. it's NOT d information being processed dat's impt. dat's nt wad d system is for. it's d skills u acquire from processing d intel dat will help u in ur life till u die. it's as true as water quenches thirst & dats juz d way it is. 

Over So Soon . Impacted

my very first outta 10 In-Camp Trainings(ICTs) is now over.. BOOOOO. kinda sad dat it went by so soon tho but dat's cool =) it was a low-key five-&-a-half day thinggy' which ended w/ a mock activation/mobilization, which also ended REALLLY quickly lol. kinda made me feel like i wasted 2 hrs of my time packing my field pack d nite b4, but then again i'm thankful for d trust d inspectors have for us. well wad can i say, we came from a 2-yr-consecutive best battalion 42 Singapore Armoured Regiment, so higher expectations n leniency comes along w/ it even after entering "reservist mode" haha.

well it really did turn out to be loads of freedom in camp, especially for us men as most of d officers n sergeants had slightly more duties to be done(planning/checking equipment/paperwork etc). kudos to them man. we pretty much visited d canteen EVERY DAY n could walk anywhere we wish during admin time as long as we have our headdress on, when not under shelter dat is =P of course, we had to be on time for any training we had like section & vehicle drills, grenade throwing(which i completely suck at sadly), breaching n my own weapon familiarization(M203 as usual). it's a weird feeling knowing that i'll be d first to die in a real war considering I have to be in front bashing thru jungles w/ my parang for my section or simply die from exhaustion of carrying d bangalor torpedo & HE/Illum rounds etc. but it's alright cuz we all have our individual duties so i juz need to focus on being d best 1M203 i can be =) 

i felt happy dat my platoon had a much better bonding this time round n dat i could open up a lil more to ppl i didn't expect to haha. we did several more things together especially when we all went to "lim kopi" on d final nite spending some quality time haha. anyway my current goal for d next 9 yrs till MR is simply to be able to contribute to my platoon, coy or battalion as much as i can whilst not causing any trouble for anyone. it's a realistic dream for me atm n i'm juz glad to know dat my presence dun bring any air of contempt anymore but true delight/comfort.

so tk God ICT ended in time for me to make it for my allocated 1530 hrs svc at JW earlier on. these past few mths have seen a string of powerful n anointed speakers visiting but somehow, Mike Connell's Word stood out to me this season. 

• u may come from a lousy background but it's ur future dat's of greater concern.
• God has amazing plans in store for ur future even when others despise d current u. 
• dun let bitterness toward insensible crowd stop u from achieving ur dreams, release n become great.

aite so i juz finished watching d finale of The Ultimate Fighter Season 13. nth spectacular except dat Tony Ferguson won d six-figure UFC contract as 170lbs welterweight =) cant wait to watch UFC 131 soon when i have d time to spare yup.

so i'll be entering my 1st ever ICT(In-Camp Training), or in other words, Reservist lol. from wad i've heard, it's not as tiresome as NS days. more like a time to rest up n recover from a year of tough employment/school etc etc. i'm guessing more or less these 6 days to be quite relaxed w/ occasional briefings and some light physical training. if d tasks r done quickly, then most of the time will be spent reflecting on wad to improve on when returning to the "outside" world lol.

hmm lets see.. now where did my alarm clock go?

well i'll need some time to get used to all d features in blogspot so do expect continuous add-ons! in any case, exams for my final semester have ended so it's time to indulge life for a bit!! nt implying dat mugging saps life away tho, studying IS impt n is being used every day by every one - neighbourhood area, roads & eateries frequented, fav' cashier at a hypermarket etc. we all absorb bits of useful information daily n dat's almost equivalent to studying! yup yup so cheers we're all intelligent homo sapiens =)

anywayz, i've been watching LOADS of stuff dat'll completely rock ur world(or butt since u'll literally be glued to ur seat d moment u start). knock urselves out~

first up, I juz completed d entire Season 03 of Star Wars Clone Wars! so sad i wish there was more! but o well. ahh yes! i muz say dat anakin's padawan is juz so cute(btm rite weilding green lightsabre)!! haha

& on to d next is How I Met Your Mother Season 06!!

yes yes, i've been absolutely SLOWW but I am on it so pls forgive me all u social HIMYM fan addicts! previously had to stop at Season 05 abruptly due to skool n some other stuff(smallville, fringe, naruto cough cough).

if i rmb correctly, d gal in black dress in d foreground, Robin, only came after Season 03? tho this eye-candy Canadian is definitely en route to Stardom now i tink, eh =) can't believe i'm still somewhat influenced by Quebec frens i met while playing Utopia n Cronous a long time back. but dat's cool

n next is One Piece !!!

now now, i still like Naruto & Bleach but decided to give this anime a try due to an exodus of fren's recommendations bla bla.. rite now I'm only at episode 124 n i juz can't STOP! basically d main guy u see is called Monkey D. Luffy aka Captain(dun mind Japs they aren't really logical w/ English but their storylines r mind blowing). from left is Miss AllSunday(nt sure if she'll join d crew 'cuz i'm still so far behind grrrr). followed by Usopp d Exaggerator, Vivi d Princess, Sanji d Cook, Nami d Navigator, Roronoa Zoro d Swordsman & Chopper d Medic on d right.

ahh yes I've not missed d weekly-never-failing-to-excite, WWE Raw & Smackdown!! Randy Orton looks really cool now w/ dat eight o-clock shave.. he kinda reminds me of a bunkmate back in my NS days minus d beard haha. n d Mexican flavour Sin Cara is amazing! i'm still waiting to see what heights he can reach considering his impressive debut n matchups. 

oh it was so funny to see Mr. Cole get his face plummeted in his own glass covering by Jerry the King Lawler HAHAH. tho i feel kinda sad dat Booker T's juz letting him run his mouth. seriously, MyPiss(Michael) Cole's lame colloquies can easily be retorted rite off d back of my head. he really shud juz shut up, go back to sports commentary n stop embarrassing himself.
